The duo

Two homelands, one repertoire

TERRALUZ is an intimate duo that celebrates the power of music to cross borders and connect people. Vocalist Ema Lucas and guitarist Andrés Hühner draw on the rhythms and poetry of their roots, weaving fado, South American and Lusophone folk with modern acoustic colour.

With a warm, open stage presence and a repertoire in Portuguese, Spanish and English, they create an atmosphere that is at once personal and universal — intimate, honest and deeply resonant.

Their music travels, like light, beyond language and geography. Each piece tells a story of origin, migration and finding a home along the way.

Voice & bass clarinet

Trained as a classical clarinettist in Antwerp before a master's in jazz voice in Tilburg brought her to singing. Also a vocal and clarinet teacher and choir conductor.
